Alexander Gabriel Albanese, born in 97, living in Milan. My passion and love for art led me to investigate a language that allowed me to express myself - something I managed to find in photography. Photography, for me, is being able to convey my personal perspective of the world. In search of a style, I approached a photographer that I admire, Renato D'Agostin. I had the opportunity to have individual meetings with him, which allowed me to deepen my knowledge of analogue photography and darkroom techniques. A process that, ultimately, led me to reflect on the value of the print and helped push my work in a new direction.
“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.” - Ansel Adams
